The Challenge
The goal was to optimize institutional collaboration (IIZ) to improve the chances of individuals entering the primary labor market or education. The IIZ project team was tasked with developing proposals for process improvement. To do this, all stakeholders first needed to understand their current position and identify other involved parties.
The Outcome
In workshops, we analyzed the current situation and interviewed stakeholders about their roles, influence, and functions. Using graphical representations and a survey, we validated our perspective. The result is a four-dimensional graphic that groups stakeholders into six thematic zones and four levels of interaction. This visual structure simplifies communication and the presentation of the complex landscape of stakeholders.
The Impact
The graphic was revised multiple times, which encouraged participation. Due to high interest, the printed product was produced and distributed in two languages. Additionally, a template version was created so stakeholders can produce their own maps, available as both PDF and print versions. The project demonstrates how visualization as a workshop canvas contributes to organizational development, strengthens collaboration, and promotes new initiatives.
