Cost of Living Across Europe

The project examined the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) of the EU, which maps price and income differences. Through the analysis of an extensive dataset, we developed a new diagram, the radial deviation diagram, which visualizes price deviations from the mean. The workflow combined D3 for SVG creation and manual adjustments in Illustrator. The result was a fold-out poster that makes all European countries comparable and enriched with highlights, providing deeper insights.
